Overview

This is an Opening Workshop of the Special Program on Numerical Methods for Nonlinear Hyperbolic PDEs, which will be organized at the Shenzhen International Center for Mathematics. The main part of the program will take place throughout the Spring semester in 2024.The aim of the Opening Workshop is to bring together world leading experts in the field, who will give 32 invited talks over the period of one week. A substantial part of this focused workshop will be devoted to discussion sessions and exchange of ideas between the participants. Many of the workshop speakers will visit SUSTech again in the framework of the main part of the Special Program in Spring 2024, spend different periods of time at the Shenzhen International Center for Mathematics, participate in other program events, and offer mini-courses.
