The SUSTech International Center for Mathematics hosted the 2019 International Conference on Algebra. The main organizer of the conference is Fields Medalist Efim Zelmanov. Professor Zelmanov is a member of the US Academy of Sciences, and the Rita L. Atkinson Chair in Mathematics at UC San Diego
