Professor Jiping ZHANG, a core member of the International Center for Mathematics of Southern University of Science and Technology, has been appointed as the 2019 new member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on November 22, 2019.

“Mathematical Art in Magic”; a lecture on mathematics culture, was held at 3 PM on October 26, 2019. The lecture was organized by SUSTech International Center for Mathematics, and the venue was the first floor of Qiuxian Pavilion, Shenzhen Talent Park.The lecture was hosted by Helen Yu who a teacher form SUSTech International Center for Mathematics.

From October 12 to 14, 2019, "Academic Seminar on Modeling, Analysis and Computation in Fluids" was successfully held in the International Center for Mathematice.

Henry Segerman, is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at Oklahoma State University and is also a well- known mathematical artist. He gave an intriguing and fascinating lecture on mathematics communications, Artistic Mathematics: Truth and Beauty, at Qiuxian Pavilion in Shenzhen Talent Park on August 10th.
